newbornbannerWe know you love your child.

Making an Adoption Plan for a child doesn’t mean the parents don’t care for or want their child. It doesn’t mean the parents don’t love their child either. Parents make an Adoption Plan because, for whatever reason, they just can’t parent their child at that point in their lives.

Regardless, when parents are ready to develop an Adoption Plan, we’re ready to work for them.

Newborn Adoption
Newborn adoption is when expectant parents make an Adoption Plan for an unborn or recently born child.

Graceful Adoptions starts working with mothers whenever they are ready – before the baby is born or after the baby’s birth.

“I already had one daughter and we were struggling. I wasn’t in a place to raise another child right now. Graceful Adoptions helped me find a family that would give my baby everything they needed, and would love my child like their own.”

Infant Adoption
Infant adoption is when parents make an Adoption Plan for a child that is between 1 month and 12 months of age.

Graceful Adoptions regularly works with mother’s who realize they are unable to parent their child. This usually occurs because support they anticipated would be available is no longer available. This could be the child’s father who is no longer interested or unable to support the child or family who committed to being there to help, however are unable to do so.

“We had exceptional communication throughout the process – from our first contact to the placement of our son. We still receive great support for our family post-adoption. They’re wonderful people at a wonderful agency. Graceful Adoptions made a stressful decision easier.”

Toddler Adoption
Toddler adoption is when parents make an Adoption Plan for a child that is between 1 and 3 years old.

This decision doesn’t come easy. Parents who make an Adoption Plan for their toddler have tried every possible way to make being a parent work. Making an Adoption Plan is usually the last resort and we understand completely.

“I was parenting a 1, 2, and 3 year old as a single parent with no family or support nearby. I couldn’t find affordable childcare so I could work. I struggled with homelessness as a child and as an adult, I didn’t want the same thing for my children. I selected a couple who were financially secure and lived a simple life – one that I wanted for my children. The children now have a chance at a happy life.”
